Technical Support Intern

Overview/Job Description

We are looking for interns to assist with technical and non-technical tasks.  For the right candidate(s), this could lead into a full-time position. 

This is an ideal opportunity for someone pursuing a career in Information Technology.  Our preference would be a candidate working towards a Computer Science/CIS or Business degree with a strong interest in computer hardware, software, applications, networking and data communications. 

The ideal candidate will have good verbal and writing skills, and a strong desire to learn.    

Job Requirements

Tasks will include:  

  • System Diagnostics and Troubleshooting
  • Work with vendors, including setup of RMA’s
  • Inventory of hardware and software
  • Assist techs and engineers with internal and client projects
  • Assist with Shipping and Receiving
  • Organization and management of tech room and other internal systems
  • Assist with non-technical related tasks

You must be able to lift 50 lbs.  A+ and/or Network+ Certification are a plus.

Hours and Travel

Hours will be scheduled around your classes, but would prefer if candidate could work around a 20 hour week.

Compensation

Candidate will be paid based on skills and experience.
